Offenders are sentenced by the Courts under Sentencing Guidelines to non-custodial units. This program provides the Work Crew and Community Service placements with government or non-profit community service agencies for the benefit for the community. Custody units are credited towards the sentence imposed. In addition, community service may be imposed on offenders who violate their supervision as probationers, parolees, or post prison supervision. The program will also serve those offenders who participate in the "Community Corrections Center" as a means of providing work credit towards reduced sentences.
