NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
In accordance with ORS 285C.609,
on September 22, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. in Room 114, Umatilla County
Courthouse, 216 SE 4th Street, Pendleton, Oregon, the Umatilla County
Board of Commissioners will conduct a public hearing on the proposed
application for property tax exemption through the Strategic Investment
Program for a commercial wind energy generation project known as the
Iberdrola Renewables, Inc. Helix Wind Power Facility Project. The
Board of Commissioners has entered into negotiations with the project
owner for an agreement under the Strategic Investment Program for an
exemption from property taxation. All interested persons may
appear at the hearing and be heard on the potential agreement for
property taxation exemption.
