Domestic Violence
Offenders are assigned by the releasing authority to enter and complete the domestic violence program. Treatment specialist, provide individual and group therapy and updated techniques related to the offender’s thinking errors and behavior. This is an intensive supervision program requiring offenders to complete a multitude of treatment categories including a batter’s intervention utilizing the Duluth model of treatment. Other cognitive groups are available as alternative sanctions. Protection of the community, protection of past and potential victims, and offender habilitation are the primary focus.
