REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
Drilling and Blasting of Gravel Pit
Umatilla County is requesting
proposals for drilling and blasting of the Kirk
gravel pit, located east of Weston, Oregon
approximately 3 miles, on Kirk Road near the
intersection of Highway 204. The project
will consist of drilling and blasting approximately
15,000 cubic yards of solid material. Holes
should be 3.5 inches in diameter drilled on 8 foot
centers or equivalent. Work to be completed to
allow crushing to start at site no later than May 17,
2021. Any fee shall be for a set
fee based on cost per yard for 15,000 solid yard
quantity. Fee shall include all costs for
work, with no additional charges or
contingencies. Successful proposer to execute
written contract within 10 days of notification of
award.

Email proposals are not acceptable. Proposal must be clearly marked Kirk Road pit proposal on the outside of the envelope.

Umatilla County may
reject any proposal not in compliance with all
prescribed public bidding procedures and
requirements and reserves the right to reject any
or all proposals and to accept the proposal deemed
to be in the public interest.
